 About Us

   Lizbeth H. de Ayala is the founder and president of Rescuing the Family in Nueva Esparta, Venezuela. This organization specializes in the enhancement, training and supervision of couples and parents while strengthening their relationships.

   Lizbeth has a degree in psychology from the Jesuits’ Universidad Católica Andres Bello in Caracas, Venezuela, and has practiced child and family psychology for more than 35 years.
In Venezuela, she provided schools with basic psychological services, which included counseling elementary school children and consulting with school personnel; worked as a vocational counselor for various high schools, and held private practice as well.

   Lizbeth worked for nine years as a manager of the Adoption Office for Government Entities where she provided group practice therapy, parent consulting, behavior management and other interventions with children and families with a wide range of problems; sustained a biweekly column guidance to parents in a local newspaper and magazine.

    In recent years, Lizbeth has obtained certificates in Hypnotherapy, Reconstructive Therapy, and Spiritual Accompaniment. In addition, Lizbeth led multiple workshops and trained hundreds of individuals and couples in various Hispanic communities in the San Francisco Bay Area.
